Mountaineers Foothills Branch was chartered in August of 2004, with an emphasis to serve communities in the Snoqualmie Foothills, from east of Lake Washington along the I-90 corridor eastward to Ellensburg including our Mountaineers facilities, the Meany Lodge. OUR BRANCH MISSION is: Through education--teach conservation and promote advocacy. Through recreation--teach safe skills and proper enjoyment of our natural resources.

Turns All Year provides backcountry skiing trip reports, mountain weather, snow, avalanche, NWAC telemetry, trail, and forest road conditions for year-round backcountry telemark skiing, ski touring, randonee skiing, and snowboarding in the Pacific Northwest. Weather links cover the Washington Cascades and Olympics, with additional NWAC mountain telemetry data and forecasts for the Oregon Cascade Mountains. Includes galleries of skiing images, information on backcountry telemark skiing techniques, and biographies of year round skiers.
